3 Things Thursday – May 21

3 Things Thursday – May 21

It’s that time again: 3 Things Thursday! I am glad that I learned about this from my fellow blogger, Salma, of The Write Balance, who participates in this “Three Things Thursday” linkup every week.

My three “things” this Thursday are actually three (OK, four) PEOPLE, not things! 😉

Thursday Thing #1. *Daughter & Granddaughter*

My day started off with a phone call from my youngest daughter, Joy, who also was the first of my four kids to get married AND the only one to have children so far. I have two beautiful granddaughters, Chloe, who’s about 2 1/2 years old; and Ava, who’s about 9 months old.

Joy was checking on me, to see how I was doing. She had also told Chloe that Grami has a big “boo boo” on her hand. Chloe wanted to talk to me and in her cute little voice, she said, “Love you, Grami. Hope you feel better.”  🙂  What a great way to start my day!

Thursday Thing #2.*Mom-in-Law*

My dear mom-in-law, Sarah, has been a wonderful help since my surgery. She has taken me to a couple of appointments and has stopped by every day while Dave has been at work, to take the dogs out, do some chores around the house, and visit a bit. Today she cut up some fresh strawberries so I could have them with yogurt. Such a blessing!

Thursday Thing #3.*Hubby*

My darling hubby, Dave, has been wonderful–or more wonderful than usual–taking care of me, making sure I don’t overdo it, taking on my usual tasks on top of his own…in other words, taking his wedding vows seriously, “in sickness and in health.” So blessed to have him in my life!

So what are YOUR thoughts?

Do you have three specific things that were meaningful to you this Thursday?

  1. I love your three things. You are, indeed, blessed. I’m sure you deserve the love and care your family shower on you. I’d like to share your happiness.
    My three things are:
    1) My darling husband is still beside me.
    2) He’s more appreciative and less stressed.
    3) Today is another day.

  2. I love strawberries with yogurt. How sweet all of these things were! My three things for yesterday 1) I am healthy 2) My husband was also by my side 3) I have a job.

  3. What a wonderful way to start the day indeed! And you have such an amazing family who care so much and help you out! I hope your hand feels better soon and as always, so glad to have you linking up to 3 Things Thursday and sharing all your positivity 🙂
