Reflecting on the Day I Became a Mother for the First Time

Reflecting on the Day I Became a Mother for the First Time

Reflection on Motherhood   On this day 36 years ago–October 2, 1981–I became a Mom for the first time. My son, Andrew James, entered the world on that morning at the Lakes Region General Hospital (LRGH) in Laconia, New Hampshire. In attendance at the birth were my mother, due to her nursing career there at LRGH, along with other medical staff. My Dad waited nearby, anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild. Enjoying Life’s Simple Pleasures

My Middle Daughter’s 29th Birthday – April 3 Inspiration

My Middle Daughter’s 29th Birthday – April 3 Inspiration

They grow up so fast! I am thankful God blessed me with my third child, and second beautiful daughter, when Jennifer Danielle was born 29 years ago today! I am so proud of her, for all she has overcome, and all she has accomplished, for her marriage, her home, and her career.     I’m so thankful she’s happily married to a loving, caring man, Andrew, who has a successful accountant career. I’m thankful she entered the nursing profession while…
