Don’t Let Confusion

Steal Your Peace!

We are inundated on a daily basis with noise and confusion, and the combination certainly does threaten or even steal our peace of mind at times. That’s when we have to turn to God and trust Him to accompany us as we take our daily steps through this life’s journey. Only God can make sense of the confusion and give us His peace, which passes all understanding.

It’s Serenity Sunday on my other blog, where I also talked about Promoting Peace and Preventing Drama!

Here’s your inspiration for today…

“Are you confused? Is there something happening in your life right now you don’t understand? Or perhaps you’re baffled about the way things happened in your past. Many people today suffer tremendously with confusion, but that was never God’s plan. He doesn’t cause your confusion–He wants to stop it.

He doesn’t want you to try to figure out everything that happens in your life. He knows what is going on and why, and He is in control. So trust God to take care of everything that concerns you and enjoy a peaceful, happy life.”

–Joyce Meyer in “Ending Your Day Right”

My Reflections

It is so difficult sometimes to trust God without fear and worry interfering. That’s when I think of the well-known “Footprints” poem, that when we review difficult times in our lives and see only one set of footprints…that’s when God was carrying us THROUGH the difficulties!

So What Are Your Thoughts?

Do you sometimes have difficulty trusting God without fear or worry edging in?

What are your strategies to overcome those feelings?

What a beautiful post for this wonderful Sunday and I needed to be reminded of this as I have been worrying about something so I just keep telling myself “FROG… Fully Rely On God and he doesn’t give us more than we can handle and when one door closes another will open. Have a wonderful day.
