  1. I struggle with trying to squeeze as much as I can into a day. I think sometimes my family suffers from that. I’ve been working on prioritizing my days a bit better, so we can all feel better at the end of the day. This is a great reminder for me not to get down on myself.

  2. -1- I am great at setting priorities but then something happens that has a higher priority!

-2- I do care about what others think – probably too much.

    -3- Oh my gosh, yes.

    Thank you for the devotion!

  3. I’m not good at prioritizing, and it takes a lot of effort to even get my blog posted. I get a lot of interruptions and I feel like I’m a bit scattered. I need to prioritize a book I’m writing. I will have to set aside specific hours and just use those hours for it. I need to pray that things don’t go wrong in that time period.
    Thank you.

I agree that one of the reasons people lose their peace and fail to have the things they want is because they get their priorities out of line. I’m pretty good at setting my priorities; not so good at keep them straight. I don’t think I care (too much) about what other people think. I can’t do anything about that. My biggest weakness is definitely criticizing myself when I don’t accomplish everything I think I should.

  5. Ah this is great! I think I have too many priorities. There are so many things I want to do and not enough time in the day to do them all…I need to once again as I do often re-prioritize my life. And yes put Jesus at the begging of it all.

  6. Priorities are always a challenge for me. I have to stay off of facebook in order to get anything meaningful done. It is too easy to get sucked into fun photos, people’s passionate rants, the newsy stuff going on, etc. I agree that we should let God lead our days and that by doing so, we will see more productive and meaningful results.

I love this post; there are so many things to reflect on. Yes, I tend to criticize myself when I don’t accomplish the things that I should because I know that I can if I just did it right.
