Maximize May by Maximizing Your Time and Productivity – May 1 Inspiration

Maximize your time and productivity. Happy May 1st! I am on a mission now to maximize May by maximizing my time and productivity. In April, I had to redirect my time and effort toward other obligations that had to take priority over blogging. To help get back on track, I am recycling a few posts from earlier in April that didn’t get many views and had few or no comments. I have not always been the best at maximizing my time, but now that I have a new freelance career position, and some other changed life circumstances, it’s something I MUST learn to do well!

So here is your May 1 inspiration that you can enjoy and benefit from any time you read it!

“I believe that being fruitful

makes one confident.

We are not created by God

to waste anything He has given us,

and time is certainly

one of the greatest assets we have.

Everyone has the same amount of time,

and yet some do so many things with theirs

while others do little or nothing.

You will never experience confidence

if you waste your life and your time.”

–Joyce Meyer in “The Confident Woman Devotional”

My reflections:

I think the most significant point I get from this devotional is how maximizing time and productivity also increases your confidence. Since I have struggled with this issue all my life, I no longer want to waste my time and my life, but rather maximize it to its fullest potential. And I have started to experience how the more productive my day is, the more confident and better I feel at the end of the day.

So what are YOUR thoughts?

Do you struggle with time management?

Or are you one who successfully maximizes your time?

  1. I love being productive, it’s one of the most rewarding feelings ever, especially when you see all your accomplishments in front of you at the end of the day. Thanks for this lovely message. It’s the perfect post to welcome the first of May! May you be blessed this month!

  2. May! How did it become May so quickly? I always try to maximize my time but I feel like sometimes I overload myself and that needs to really change!

  3. The time do goes so fast. It was just New years and cold now summer is here May…For many of us time moves so swift. Time management well I am working on organizing and use time effectively …Its a work in process.

  4. Some days my time management is awesome! Then there are days when I start out with a plan in mind and end up with 25 tabs open. 🙂 I think as long as I am able to balance the 2 it works out well.

  5. I’m always behind lately. Too much on my plate, but not enough of what I need on my plate…yet. Working towards those goals and then time management will be easier.

  6. Such a great quote. I may say that my April was spent with a little time wasted and I will not allow my May to be the same. I have started pretty well, I believe, as I was now able to get a domain for my blog and is now very giddy to continue blogging.

  7. I agree that maximizing time and productivity increases one’s confidence. I always try to keep things done and meet my deadlines before the real deadline. You become confident because you know you did your homework + if there are setbacks, you could easily correct ’em. Usually, that is the product of good planning & not procrastinating so good job for making use of your time wisely.

  8. I am definitely working on maximizing the time and productivity. Still need some improvement there.

  9. Time. It’s something we all think we have plenty of – until we don’t. Use it wisely or lose it. You can’t get it back and we aren’t guaranteed any more, not even the next second.

  10. I agree that we can make the very best of everything or we can waste what we are given. I love to grab life with both hands and run with it!

    Enjoy the journey!

  11. I was more efficient before I retired. Lol, but honestly I really don’t care. Even productivity has lost its pivotal presence.
Now, I am productive if I can pray for someone who needs prayer and a few kind words! Funny, how praying with inmates brings tears. Lately, I too feel their pain. But when The Lord gets a good hold of them, it Is beautiful and joyous. There is no time with God and I feel a tiny bit of that timeless freedom
