  1. Yes, I do struggle to love myself. I reached a low point about three years ago – I was overweight, on the verge of obesity, and I hated myself, and hated everyone else, whether they were thin or not thin. I could barely look at myself in a mirror. I had to do a lot of deep thinking and learn to love myself. But I struggle with those feelings daily. Why do so few of us know how to love ourselves? We truly are our own worst enemies.

  3. This post is full of great thoughts! I do think that self-love and contentment and even happiness can be learned! First we have to identify the problem: that we are our own worst enemies, as Alana pointed out.

  4. Amen! Love IS the ultimate vibration. It’s hard to tune into its energy when there’s so many other things to deal with in a given day especially when we end up feeling sorry for ourselves because of the unconditional love we didn’t get as kids and so we end up hating ourselves as a result. Great post and thank you so much for bringing this to the surface. It’s something I deal with on a daily if not hourly basis!
