This is my 9th Father’s Day without my beloved Dad, to whom this blog is dedicated.
It always amazes me how emotional I still get on these special days, as so many memories come flooding back. My Dad was not only a great father, but a wonderful man, loved by everyone who knew him well.
I regret that I have been away so long from this very special blog, but I had a great writing client in May, and had to devote most of my time to writing for him. That writing gig, plus last minute wedding preparations and getting together with my youngest daughter, who got married on June 4th – all worthwhile activities that left me with no time for blogging.
I’m trying to start fresh today with that blogging schedule I mentioned in my last post, way back on May 1st.
In closing this post, however, I just want to encourage all of you who still have your Dads with you – if you have good and healthy relationships with them – cherish the time you have together, while you can!
