Daily Scripture

I decided to add this as a separate page for those who might like to read some daily scriptures from Psalms and Proverbs.

I first learned about this practice of reading through Psalms and Proverbs each month MANY years ago, by following this procedure:

*Psalms – read the Psalm that matches the date, plus every 30th Psalm; so for today, March 1st, you would read Psalms 1, 31, 61, 91, and 121. Note that there often appears to be a pattern of similar themes in these series – and sometimes, parts of one Psalm are contained within another one in the series of 30s.

*Proverbs – read the Proverbs that matches the date (so today’s would be Proverbs 1).

I will add verses each day of this month, so you can return here daily and monthly, if you would like to read the posted verses.

“Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!
