So yesterday, Friday, was 5-15-15, a date that looks nearly symmetrical as written, and is in fact another palindrome (mentioned this phenomenon the other day HERE). In other words, the numbers are the same both forward and backward.
But that wasn’t the only thing different about the day. It was a total change of pace because I was one day post-surgery, and hubby and I are in the midst of a role reversal where he is taking on my usual chores AND taking care of me while I recover.
Other changes here involve keeping my blog going while I’m unable to use my right hand. I’m typing with my left hand, and it’s very slow and awkward. So instead of what has become my usual daily devotional format, for probably most of the rest of this month we’ll do some different things that reduce the amount of one-handed typing I need to do.
So please stay tuned and check back in!
Remember that you can still read Psalms and Proverbs to accompany each day on my page, Daily Scripture Readings. AND you have an opportunity to put compassion into action–whether through praying, sharing the linked causes, and/or donating.
So what are YOUR thoughts?
Have you had, or are you in the midst of, circumstances that forced you into a change of pace from your normal routine? How did/do you handle it?
